Water Awareness Day Draws Attention to Conservation and Solutions

May 1 was a day of educational outreach, live entertainment, and contests and giveaways at Del Monte Center, and we thank you, the public, for joining us in raising awareness and educating our local community about the importance of being water wise!

It is the Water Awareness Committee of Monterey County, Inc.’s goal to empower the public with the knowledge and tools needed to conserve water and support our community’s water supply solutions.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Del Monte Shopping Center for their hospitality. We would also like to recognize our generous sponsors, booth participants, volunteers, the team at Thomas Brand Consulting and poster artist Julie Rips for their support in making this celebration a success.
